We’re Conan & Karen Humphrey, and our journey began with a piece of land and a strong desire to become self-reliant and provide for ourselves. So, we set out to build our own homestead.

It hasn’t always been easy—we’ve hit plenty of bumps along the way—and while we wouldn’t say we’re fully self-reliant just yet, we’re closer than we’ve ever been. Along this journey, we discovered that creating delicious, wholesome food for your family isn’t as daunting as it seems.

After seeing the joy and appreciation our meals brought to our friends and family, we felt inspired to help others do the same. We want everyone to experience the satisfaction of growing and preparing quality food for their loved ones.

That passion led us to grow beyond our farm. We purchased a warehouse that became the home of Red Coop Feed & Seed. Here, we do more than just sell the supplies and materials you need for your homestead—we also offer hands-on classes. Learn how to build essential tools and structures, raise and care for animals, and even process your own meat to stock your freezer.

Family is at the heart of everything we do—ours and yours. Don’t be surprised if you see one (or more) of our little “helpers” running around the store!
